This super limited EVW7K01 GBS Evolution VIII supersweater is the only piece of its kind in the world, created exclusively for LABELS. It is based on a specially developed elongated “extensionism” cardigan pattern with a high-collared, zip-front, slim-fitting design. Expertly knit using classic fully fashioned techniques by the Sella family in Cavarzere Venezia, the sweater features over 860 grams of ultralux pure Mongolian cashmere yarn from Italy’s prestigious Cariaggi Lanificio, known for its exceptional softness and 10 times more insulating power than regular wool.

The knitwear was individually hand-dyed and treated in the GBS Superworkrooms at Cavarzere Venezia to achieve its rich black color, patina effects, and remarkable drape. Its seamless, one-piece construction eliminates sewing seams, while the rib-knit sections, “calatura” shoulder shaping, clean-finished zipper installation, and hand-finished besom pocket design showcase exceptional Italian craftsmanship. The deluxe Excella zipper was custom-made in Japan by YKK to exact specifications for this piece.

The sweater includes a pure silk label hand-dyed by Mion SpA in Torreglia, the first in the luxury industry to eliminate plastic polyester yarns. It is sewn in with pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta threads, ensuring exquisite detail. Variations in color and density reflect the artisanal techniques used. Professional cleaning or gentle handwashing in cold water is recommended, with flat air drying. Avoid washing with other items, machine washing, or drying.
